Contracted Services Agreement between University Park Elementary and New Hope Educational Services
Nicholas W. Smith from New Hope Educational Services will present this one-day training for University Park Elementary School teachers to provide strategies for identifying and managing disruptive classroom behaviors. This presentation will take place at University Park Elementary on February 15, 2010, which is the District Professional Development Day.
The participants will include 47 instructional staff members from Pre-K through 6th grade, ESE, guidance and activity teachers at University Park Elementary. Each participant will receive a Teacher Handbook which includes comprehensive strategies for classroom behavioral management.
The cost of the presentation is $2,000 and will be paid by Title I staff development funds.
Teachers will implement presented strategies in the classroom to reduce loss of instructional time. Administrators will conduct a Classroom Walk-through to evaluate the effectiveness of the program.
Approve the Contracted Services Agreement between University Park Elementary School and New Home Educational Services for the one-day classroom behavioral management training on February 15, 2010.
