Award of Bid - Titusville High School Exterior Painting
Plant Operations and Maintenance and Project Management staff collaborated to develop a list of painting and corrosion control projects for execution this year and next year. Although most of the projects are under the $50,000 procurement threshold, some will require School Board authorization.
Bids were solicited from the District's painting contractors (RFP #14-B-056-DW awarded February 25, 2014). The low bid was provided by Anchor Painting, Inc. in the amount of $138,242. The bid tabulation is attached. The low bidder has prior satisfactory experience with the District and their bid was validated by the Project Manager.
Board approval is required for a purchase order over $50,000. In order to proceed with the work, approval is requested as a consent agenda item without prior information.
Award the bid for Titusville High School Repainting project to Anchor Painting in the amount of $138,242 under their continuing services contract for painting contractor services.
