Additional Relocatable Classroom at Cocoa High School - Final Change Order and Close-out

Discussion

On 7/22/2014 the School Board approved Canaveral Construction Company, Inc. to provide Design/Build Services to install two relocatable classrooms at Cocoa High School under their Continuing Contract for Design/Build Services for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of $57,533.50.

The work has been completed. Reconciliation of unspent Contingency requested by the District has resulted in a deductive Change Order in the amount of ($5,432.71).

Recommendation

Approve Change Order #1 to Canaveral Construction Company, Inc. for the Additional Relocatable Classrooms at Cocoa High School under their Continuing Contract for Design/Build Services decreasing their Guaranteed Maximum Price by ($5,432.71) to $52,100.79 with no change in contract time.
