Oak Park ES OA and FCU Unit GMP & Budget Sheet
The air handling units at Oak Park Elementary School have deteriorated to the point of failure. Failure will compromise our ability to air condition individual classrooms. New outside air units are required to supply adequate fresh air and control humidity.
H. J. High Construction has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) under their Continuing Contract for Construction Management Services in the amount of $646,177.09 for the replacement of 26 HVAC fan coil units and 5 new outside air units. The scope of work is based on construction documents provided by TLC Engineering under their Continuing Contract for Mechanical Engineering Services. The Total Project Cost for this work including the GMP, design, administration, permitting, inspections and contingency is estimated at $756,429.
Adequate funding has been identified and budgeted in the FY2014-15 Capital Funds for the estimated cost of the project.

Approve the Oak Park ES OA and FCU budget for a Total Project Cost not-to-exceed $756,429.
Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submitted by H. J. High Construction under their Continuing Contract for Construction Management Services for the Oak Park Elementary School Fan Coil Unit replacement and additional Outside Air Units in the amount of $646,177.09.
