Approximately 110 teachers from Columbia Elementary, Cape View Elementary and Sea Park Elementary will attend this training scheduled for the Professional Development Day on February 17, 2014.
This training will help teachers with increasing rigor, effective assignments and assessments, and prepare students to be successful with 21st Century Standards. The workshop will provide a framework and instructional strategies that will make high expectations of learning for all students a reality. Collaboration among the three schools that have similar school improvement focuses is a deliberate way to enhance the knowledge gained from the workshop.
The total cost of the agreement is $3,375. Each school will be responsible for their cost based on how many teachers from the school attend. The cost will be paid with Title I funds and staff development funds.
