Proposals for potential attendance/program boundary changes and school closings for the 2012-13 school year:

Proposal 1
Reduce enrollment at Viera High School.  Schools potentially affected: Eau Gallie HS, Satellite HS and Viera HS.

Proposal 2 
Reduce enrollment at Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr HS.  Schools potentially affected: Clearlake MS, DeLaura MS, Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr HS and Satellite HS.

Proposal 3
Reduce enrollment at Kennedy MS.  Schools potential affected: Clearlake MS, DeLaura MS, Kennedy MS and McNair MS.

Proposal 5
Reduce enrollment at Meadowlane ES and Riviera ES.  Schools potentially affected: Roy Allen ES, Croton ES, Lockmar ES, Meadowlane Intermediate ES, Meadowlane Primary ES, Riviera ES, Sabal ES and University Park ES.

Proposal 8A
Balance enrollment at Astronaut High School and Titusville High School and at Jackson Middle School and Madison Middle School.  Schools potential affected: Astronaut HS, Titusville HS, Jackson MS and Madison MS.

Proposal 16A
Close Riverview Elementary School.  Schools potentially affected: Apollo ES, Coquina ES, Imperial Estates ES, Mims ES, Oak Park ES, Riverview ES and South Lake ES.

These recommendations include input from the October 24, 2011 School Board Workshop, the Community Meetings held on November 7, 2011, November 8, 2011, November 9, 2011 and November 10, 2011 and the School Board Meetings on November 22, 2011 and December 13, 2011.  The data associated with the recommendations is based on student membership as of October 14, 2011 (Fall FTE Count) and permanent FISH capacity as of November 11, 2011.  The data does not include non-renewal of existing out-of-area students per Policy 7120, grandfathering of students in District Choice programs or grandfathering approved by the Board.
