Preparing 21st Century Citizens

Discussion
Using community resources and professional development, social studies teachers seek to help young people develop the ability to make informed, reasoned decisions for the public good as citizens in their community, state, nation and world.  District resource teachers will share how various innovative programs provide our students with political, geographic and economic awareness as well as the historical context to live in the 21st century.
