Sabal Elementary School - 6th Grade Field Trip to Washington, DC and Philadelphia, PA
The sixth grade students at Sabal Elementary are requesting approval to take an educational field trip to Washington, DC and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 17-23 (itinerary attached). The group will depart from Sabal Elementary School at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17th via Annett Bus Lines of Sebring, Florida and return to Sabal Elementary School on Saturday, May 23rd at approximately 10:00 a.m. Lodging will be at the Best Western in Woodbridge, Virginia (May 18 and 19) and Comfort Inn in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (May 20 and 21). The trip will involve approximately 44 students and 14 adult chaperones of both genders. The total cost per person ($625) was earned from sixth grade fund raisers. The amount covers transportation, lodging, breakfast, noon and evening meals, admission fees and tee shirts. Teachers and the administration will provide supplementary funds for those children who are in need. Students will miss five days of school.
