Amy Kneessy was re-elected to serve as the District 3 Board Member in November 2008. One of Ms. Kneessy's responsibilities is to appoint a district representative to serve on the district Audit Committee. Ms. Kneessy has chosen Neil Kent to serve on this committee as her representative.

Neil Kent has been in the computer industry for over 20 years. As systems consultant, systems integrator, and technical trainer, Mr. Kent has had the opportunity to perform work and training for many of the country's largest technology and telecommunications companies including Microsoft, IBM, Viacom, Turner Broadcasting, and Harris Corporation. As a project manager, he has skillfully managed countless projects from inception to completion. He holds many industry certifications in network engineering, database implementation and design, messaging, and security. Over the years he has had the opportunity to teach a wide array of computer related subjects and has written numerous white papers, project guides, courses, and other technology related content. Through Kent Training and Consulting, Neil Kent has been providing consulting, training, and content development since 1995. He is also currently President of Venatek Software Inc., a software development company specializing in custom development of data-driven applications. Neil is an active member of the community and is currently co-chair of the Ocean Breeze Elementary School Advisory Council and sits on the board of directors of Beachside Little League. Born in Brevard County, Neil Kent is a product of the Brevard County School system. He holds a BSBA from the University of Florida and he currently lives with his wife and three children in his hometown of Satellite Beach.
