Request for Palm Bay Magnet High School MCJROTC Cadet to Participate in the 2015 JROTC Service Regional Championships in Anniston, Alabama
Joshua Fontana, MCJROTC Cadet at Palm Bay Magnet High School, has qualified to participate in the 2015 JROTC Air Rifle Service Championship in Anniston, Alabama, on February 18-22, 2015.
Joshua Fontana and SgtMaj Roy J. DeYoung, USMC (Ret), MCJROTC Instructor at Palm Bay Magnet High School, plan to fly to Atlanta on Wednesday, February 18, and then drive a rental vehicle from Atlanta to Anniston. Joshua Fontana will participate in the 2015 Air Rifle Service Championship at South CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) Competition Center, Anniston, Alabama, on February 19-21. Lodging will be at the Courtyard Marriott in Anniston. The return trip will take place on Sunday, February 22.
The student and chaperone will be responsible for meals only. All other costs (transportation and lodging) will be funded by U.S. Marine Corps JROTC HQ, Quantico, Virginia. There will be no cost to the District.
Three school days will be missed (February 18-20).
