Change Order #1 to Emergency Purchase Order for Relocatable Classrooms for University Park Elementary School

Discussion

On 09/25/12, The School Board approved Canaveral Construction to provide Design/Build Services to relocate (4) surplus relocatable classrooms from Southwest Middle School to University Park Elementary School for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of $179,770.00.

The work has been completed.  Reconciliation of unspent Contingency has resulted in a deductive Change Order in the amount of ($13,650.59).

Recommendation
Approve Change Order #1 to Canaveral Construction's Continuing Contract for Design/Build Services for the relocation of (4) surplus relocatable classrooms from Southwest Middle School to University Park Elementary School, decreasing the Guaranteed Maximum Price by ($13,650.59) to $166,119.41 with no change to the Contract Time.
