Reorganization of Departments

Discussion

In the continuous effort to improve efficiency and effectiveness in service to the District and the community, District staff recommends reorganization of key functions and updates to current job descriptions to reflect changes in responsibility in the areas of Curriculum and Instruction, Student Services, Communications, and Human Resources. The attached documents outline the recommended action, demonstrating a cumulative financial savings to the operational budget of $80,558.

Recommendation

Approve the changes in roles and responsibilities reflected in the Reorganization Proposal and Updated Job Descriptions, effective February 26, 2014, unless otherwise noted.
