Head Start Governing Board and Policy Council Report for December 2013
The School Board of Brevard County functions as the governing body for the Head Start program. This responsibility includes approving the major practices of the program to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. The purpose of this board agenda item is to formally submit the Head Start Governing Board and Policy Council Report for the month of December 2013. This report includes enrollment, number of meals served, year-to-date budget, and reports from the Head Start content area specialists. Grant regulations require these elements be reported to the Governing Board and Head Start Policy Council on a regular basis.
