Field Trip for Eau Gallie High School AFJROTC Students to Fly Aboard C-130 Aircraft at Patrick AFB, Florida
Eau Gallie High School AFJROTC students have been invited to fly aboard the USAF C-130 aircraft at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, on April 3, 2012. The educational objectives of this trip include orientation to aeronautics, aviation equipment and careers, and airborne navigation.
Fifteen students and three chaperones plan to leave Eau Gallie High at 9:30 a.m. on April 3 and travel to Patrick AFB by school bus. The briefing and actual flight time will last approximately one hour. Following the flight, lunch will be provided at the Patrick Dining Hall. The group will return to Eau Gallie High School at 1:30 p.m. The trip is funded by the USAF, and there is no cost to the District.
