Certification of Florida Inventory of School Houses (FISH) Data
State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) 2008 Section 6.1(7)(c) requires that "Prior to April 1 of each year, each district shall review the Florida Inventory of School Houses (FISH) and shall certify to the Office of Educational Facilities that the inventory is current and accurate".
1013.31(1)(b)(1) F.S. requires the Net Square Footage and Student Stations reported in FISH to be ninety-five percent (95%) accurate. Facilities Services surveys and adjusts every facility on a regular basis to insure a minimum of 95% accuracy in the FISH database.
Attachment: FISH Certification Form
Authorize the Board Chair and the Superintendent to sign the Certification of Facilities Data form, certifying to the Florida Department of Education that the data contained in the Brevard County School District's FISH is current and accurate, pursuant to applicable statutes and rules.
