Response to Intervention (RtI)

Discussion

Lynn Spadaccini, Director of Elementary Programs and Pam Treadwell, ESE Director of Administrative Support will present an overview of the RtI Process and the corresponding implications for exceptional student education (ESE) eligibility.

In additional to SBER 6A-6.0331: General Education Intervention Procedures, Identification, Evaluation, Reevaluation and the Initial Provision of Exceptional Education Services the authority for RtI comes from:

  • SBER 6A-6.03018:  Eligibility for Students with Specific Learning Disabilities
  • SBER 6A-6.03018: Exceptional Education Eligibility for Students with Specific Learning Disabilities
