2011-12 Student Accommodation Plan
Each year, the Facilities Services Planning staff, in association with the Area Superintendents, the school principals and the Transportation Department, prepares a Student Accommodation Plan to ensure that adequate and appropriate facilities are available to accommodate the students projected and the programs planned for the following year.
Twenty-one (21) additional relocatable classrooms have been requested. Eight (8) of these are currently surplus units at the schools requesting the additional units; the remaining thirteen (13) are surplus units that must be relocated from other schools. The cost estimate to relocate these 13 units is $400,000.
The Area Superintendents have reviewed and approved the Student Accommodation Plan.
