H-8. Amendment #3 to Agreement for Construction Management Services for Meadowlane Intermediate School
Williams Company Building Division, Inc. was approved as the Construction Manager at Risk (CM) for the construction of the new Meadowlane Intermediate School (Elementary School “T”) at the July 29, 2006 Board meeting. The original Agreement contained a GMP of $19,582,520.00. Previously approved Amendments No. 1 and 2 increased the GMP to $22,708,318.00. Amendment No. 3 is for a decrease to the GMP of ($6,320,009.00), which includes a deduct of ($6,208,484.00) for Owner Direct Purchases.
The credit of ($120,994.00) is the net result of deducts for unused Allowances and unused Sales Tax Savings within the GMP and an increase to the General Conditions.
The contract amounts included in Amendment #3 are consistent with the amounts in an Independent Accountant’s Report of the project, prepared by Carr, Riggs & Ingram, dated 2/20/08. The Report is on file in the Facilities Services Department.
Approve attached Amendment No. 3 Agreement Between Owner and Construction Manager for Construction Management Services with Williams Company Building Division, Inc. at Meadowlane Intermediate School for a decrease of ($6,320,009.00) to the Guaranteed Maximum Price. Accept the project as complete and authorize the release of retention.
