Pinewood Elementary School - Change Order #1 for HVAC Replacement

Discussion

On 10/22/2013 the School Board approved Heard Construction Inc. to provide Construction Management Services for the Pinewood Elementary School HVAC Replacement under their Continuing Contract for Construction Management Services for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in the amount of $131,232.63.

The work has been completed.  Reconciliation of unspent Contingency requested by the District has resulted in a deductive Change Order in the amount of ($50,512.24).

Recommendation
Approve Change Order #1 to Heard Construction Inc. for the Pinewood Elementary School HVAC Replacement under their Continuing Contract for Construction Management Services decreasing their Guaranteed Maximum Price by ($50,512.24) to $80,720.39.
