Job Description - Specialist-Communications Technology
This is a restructuring of the current Coordinator of Programming position to more equitably meet the needs of the changing department and its goals. Upon the vacating of the current BPS TV Manager position, a needs analysis was conducted to ascertain the best-fit scenario for the Department and District. It was determined that this role could be better defined to support the needs of not only the department, but other District entities as well, through a clarification of key job roles and responsibilities.
The previous TV Station Manager role and the Coordinator of Programming roles had a combined salary cost of $95,323. The proposed expenditures for the two new positions is $78,680 -- resulting in a department savings of approximately $16,640 annually.
Recmommend approval of the new role - Specialist-Communications Technology.
