Title
"Expanding Expression" Training and Presentation to District Speech-Language Pathologists

Discussion

On May 13, 2013 Sara Smith will present "The Expanding Expression Tool" training for 150 District Speech-Language Pathologists who serve students with disabilities.

"The Expanding Expression Tool" (EET) kit is a multi-sensory tool for improved oral and written expression and comprehension across the curriculum.  This program targets the way students organize multiple areas of language using three basic learning styles:  auditory, visual and kinesthetic.  Participants will learn how to collect baseline data and monitor progress using the program.

The $15,200 cost for the training includes a $3,000 training fee based on 150 participants, $750.00 of associated travel costs and $11,450 for 50 Expanding Expression kits.  Funding will be provided by the Office of Instructional, Behavioral and Psychological Services.
