BlueFinHR, LLC. Extension
At the February 10, 2015 Regular School Board Meeting, Board members approved the extension of the BlueFinHR, LLC contract from January 1, 2015 through April 30, 2015 and requested that staff explore other options for a benefits administration product during this four-month period. As a result, district administration issued an Invitation to Bid and recommends to the Board tonight that this contract be awarded to Howes, Inc. dba Explain My Benefits. In preliminary phone conversations with Explain My Benefits technical staff, they estimate that they can fully implement their application to support independently all district ongoing operations which provide employee benefits by August 31, 2015. Subject to Board approval of Explain My Benefits, it is required that during this transition period, the district's current vendor, BlueFinHR, LLC, continue to support day-to-day employee benefits operations to ensure that the transition, if approved, to the new vendor is seamless and invisible to district employees, retirees, and their dependents.
Extend the current contract with BlueFinHR, LLC from May1, 2015 through August 31, 2015.
