Benefits Data Management and Enrollment Services Product Bid
The Board requested that the district put its Benefits Data Management and Enrollment Services product, currently provided by BlueFinHR, LOLC, out for bid. Purchasing, Educational Technology, Human Resources, and Willis of Florida participated in putting the Invitation to Bid package together, subject to the district's requirements, and posted it on DemandStar for potential bidders.

As a result, the decision was made to recommend award of this software application contract to Howes, Inc. dba Explain My Benefits. Estimated time for set-up and transition to the new system is four (4) months.
It is the recommendation of Debra Pace, Associate Superintendent of Human Resources, and staff to award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as identified above and highlighted on the attached tabulation sheet. Request authority for the Director of Purchasing and Warehouse Services to renew the contract for one (1) additional two (2) year period. Contract renewal shall be contingent upon the Associate Superintendent of Human Resource's request for continuance of services and annual contract review.
