Southwest Middle School Trip to the 2012 National TSA Conference in Nashville, Tennessee
The Southwest Middle School Technology Student Association is requesting approval to attend the National TSA Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 21-25, 2012.
The group consists of 14 Southwest Middle School students, four Palm Bay High School students, one Eau Gallie High School student, and four chaperones. The group plans to fly from Melbourne to Nashville, TN, on June 21 and return on June 25. The group will be staying at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.
The cost of the trip is estimated at $800 per person which is the responsibility of each student/chaperone. This amount includes transportation, conference registration and meals. The students will be the sole recipients of funds through the spring fundraisers (concession at track meets, Honey-baked Ham sale, concessions at Merchants of Bayside Easter Egg Scramble, golf tournament, concessions at yearbook party and business sponsors). It is anticipated that the sponsor's expenses will be covered by CTE funds.
Approve the trip request by Southwest Middle School for students to attend the 2012 National Technology Student Association Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 21-25, 2012.
