2011-12 Student Accommodation Plan
Each year, the Facilities Services Planning staff, in association with the Area Superintendents, the school principals and the Transportation Department, prepares a Student Accommodation Plan to ensure that adequate and appropriate facilities are available to accommodate the students projected and the programs planned for the following year.
Thirteen (13) additional relocatable classrooms have been requested. Four (4) of these are currently surplus units at the schools requesting the additional units; the remaining nine (9) are surplus units that must be relocated from other schools. The cost estimate to relocate these nine (9) units is $310,000.
Twenty-three (23) relocatable classrooms have been converted to surplus.
The Area Superintendents have reviewed and approved the Student Accommodation Plan.
