Southwest Middle School Trip to 2016 National TSA Conference and Competition in Nashville, Tennessee
The Southwest Middle School Technology Student Association (TSA) is requesting Board approval to attend the National TSA Conference and Competition in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 28 - July 2, 2016.
The group consists of 15 students and five chaperones. Part of the group plans to fly to Nashville and the remaining participants will drive with their parents. It is anticipated that the group that is flying will depart Melbourne to Nashville on the morning of June 28, and return the evening of July 2.
Individual participants will be responsible for the cost of the trip which is estimated at $903 per student/chaperone. The cost will include registration, hotel accommodations, airline transportation and shuttle service (if flying), and food. The group will be staying at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Conference Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The students will be the recipients of fundraising activities to offset expenses. There will be no cost to the District.
Approve the trip request by Southwest Middle School for students and chaperones to attend the 2016 National TSA Conference and Competition in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 28 - July 2, 2016.
