Contracted Services Agreement with Ready Bodies, Learning Minds Motor-Lab Program
Ready Bodies, Learning Minds is a school based motor-lab program created to support the developmental, motor, sensory, and academic growth of students. It is a proactive, research-based strategy/curriculum that addresses primary movement patterns (reflex development/integration) which are a key component to pre-academic/academic success. This program will be presented to 45 classroom/resource teachers, 30 Pre-Kindergarten teachers and 10 therapists on September 13, 2010 (Professional Development Day). This exciting professional development initiative will be supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) 2009.
To approve the Contracted Services Agreement with Ready Bodies, Learning Minds to conduct a one-day In-Service to 85 Brevard Public Schools instructional staff on September 13, 2010.
