Cocoa High School - Food Services Guaranteed Maximum Price Walk-in Cooler Freezer Replacement
Food Service requires equipment replacement at Cocoa High School. the walk-in cooler freezer is ordered directly by Food Services. A construction manager coordinates the demolition of the existing equipment, the renovations to accommodate the new equipment and the installation of the new equipment.
Doug Wilson Enterprises, Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) under their Continuing contract for Construction Management Services in the amount $29,731.60 to undertake the work based on construction documents developed by DDC Engineering, Inc. The total project cost for this work including design, construction, administration, permitting and inspection is estimated not to exceed $38,036.60. The project will be funded by Food Services unrestricted funds.
Board approval is required for a purchase order over $25,000. In order to expedite this work, approval is requested as consent agenda item without prior information.
Approve the Cocoa High School Food Services Walk-in Cooler Freezer Replacement project for a total project cost not to exceed $38,036.60.
Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price as submitted by Doug Wilson Enterprises, Inc. under their Continuing Contract for Construction Management Services for the Cocoa High School Food Services Walk-in Cooler Freezer Replacement project in the amount of $29,731.60.
