Change Order #2 to Bleacher and Grandstand Repairs - Safety to Life

Discussion

On 06/12/12 the School Board approved Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. to provide Design/Build Services for Bleacher and Grandstand Repairs - Safety to Life at various facilities throughout the District under their Continuing Contract for Design/Build Services for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of $421,037.12.

The work has been completed.  Reconciliation of unspent Contingency requested by the District has resulted in a deductive Change Order in the amount of ($4,199.89).

Recommendation
Approve Change Order #2 to Canaveral Construction Corp. for the Bleacher and Grandstand Repairs Contract under their Continuing Contract for Design/Build Services decreasing their Guaranteed Maximum Price by ($4,199.89) to $416,837.23 with no change to Contract Time.
