Southwest Middle School Trip to Technology Student Association National Conference in Denver, Colorado
The Southwest Middle School Technology Student Association was named State Champions at the 2008-2009 State Conference in Orlando, Florida. The team qualified 13 members to attend the Technology Student Association National Conference in Denver, Colorado, on June 28, 2009, through July 2, 2009.
Southwest Middle School is requesting that 13 students, one female sponsor, and one male chaperone be permitted to attend this national conference. The group plans to fly to Denver from Orlando on June 28 and return on July 2. The total cost per person is $712. The students will be responsible for the cost of their trip. Any funds received from community/private donations going through the Brevard Schools Foundation will be equally divided and distributed back to the students. It is anticipated that the sponsor's expenses will be covered by CTE funds.
Approve the trip request by the Southwest Middle School Technology Student Association to attend the Technology Student Association National Conference in Denver, Colorado, on June 28 - July 2, 2009.
