Discussion

eCYBERMISION is a U.S. Army-sponsored, web-based science, math and technology competition that allows students in grades six through nine to compete for regional and national awards while working to solve problems in their community.  The 7th grade team (BabyBots) from Stone Middle School won a first-place award, and a free trip to the National Judging and Education Event in Washington, D. C. from June 27, 2009, to July 3, 2009, to present their final projects.

The winning team members are Conway Bolt, Judy Reese, Ryan Regan, and Taylor Snyder.  The chaperones will be Richard Regan and Karen Regan, teachers at Stone Middle School.  All expenses (airfare, hotel, meals) are paid by the U.S. Army.  There will be no cost to the District.

The team will fly out of Orlando International Airport on June 27, 2009, and return on Friday, July 3, 2009.  They will be staying at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C.  .
