Palm Bay Magnet High School Trip to 2015 National TSA Conference and Competition in Grapevine, Texas
The Palm Bay Magnet High School Technology Student Association (TSA) is requesting Board approval to attend the National TSA Conference and Competition in Grapevine, Texas (greater Dallas area), on June 28 - July 2, 2015.
The group consists of 10 students and two teacher chaperones. On June 28 the students will be transported to Orlando Airport by their parents. The group will depart Orlando to Dallas on Southwest Airlines. During the trip the group will be staying at the Residence Inn in Grapevine, Texas. The return flight will be on July 2, and parents will pick up their student at the Orlando Airport.
The students will be responsible for the cost of the trip which is estimated at $871 per person. This amount includes registration, airline transportation, hotel accommodations, food, and local transportation. The students conducted fundraiser activities during the year to offset expenses. There will be no cost to the District.
Approve the trip request by Palm Bay Magnet High School for students and chaperones to attend the 2015 National TSA Conference and Competition in Grapevine, Texas, on June 28 - July 2, 2015.
