05-27-2008 Special School Board Meeting
Agenda Item #8

Title
Recognize Winners of Be There Poster Contest

Discussion

The on going "Be There" campaign continues its mission to encourage families to spend quality time with their children. As part of promoting "Be There", a poster contest was held and all schools invited to participate. Students were asked to create a poster that represented a family "Be There" moment. Over 100 posters were received.  The students did a wonderful job capturing poignant moments with their families. The Bank of America has graciously offered to display the posters submitted from each school in their lobbies around the county.
