Job Descriptions - School Age Child Care
School Age Child Care is creating a stronger workforce to better serve the students of Brevard Schools through the development of a career ladder with an identifiable path of success. Upon the retirement of the current SACC District Coordinator, it was determined that the merging of the duties of this role with that of the Program Development Coordinator could better support the needs of the department. Additionally, the addition of two new positions at the site level (Intern and Senior Coordinator) will result in a defined path for site-level employees with a direct link to the district-level roles. Overall, the department would support nine positions with an overall cost savings of approximately $25,000 annually.
Recommend approval of the School Age Child Care restructure including the addition of two new job descriptions.
