Student Accommodation Plan Portable Relocation - Design Build Services
The School Board approved the FY 2015-2016 Student Accommodation Plan (SAP) on April 28, 2015. The SAP included the relocation of five (5) portable classrooms as follows: Lewis Carroll to Surfside (1); Space Coast to Cocoa (2) and Southlake to Oak Park (2)
Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the work under their Design Build Continuing Services Contract based on a Design Criteria Package (DCP) prepared in-house. The GMP is not to exceed $259,452.22. The total project budget including administrative and permitting costs is not to exceed $269,452.22.
Funding is available in budgeted FY 2014-2015 Capital Funds.
Board approval is required for a purchase order over $25,000. In order to expedite the work, approval is requested as a consent item without prior information.
Approve the project budget for portable relocation in an amount not to exceed $269,452.22.
Approve the GMP submitted by Canaveral Construction Co., Inc. in an amount not to exceed $259,452.22 for portable relocation.
