Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS/East) Project Application for 2015-16
The 2015-16 Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System/East (FDLRS/East) is a viable coordinated statewide network delivering effective and cost efficient support services to any and all of those involved with the education of students with disabilities.
All FDLRS Associate Center grants are completed and transmitted electronically and received, reviewed, and approved by the Bureau of Grants Management at the Florida Department of Education. Hard copies are attached of the Project Abstract, budgets, certification pages, and general assurance pages. The initiative areas (4 functions) for the FDLRS Network are Child Find, Parent Services, Human Resource Development (HRD), and Technology Services. During this project year (2015/16), the Florida Inclusion Network (FIN) for Region 3 is being combined and will be under the supervision of the FDLRS/East Project with Brevard County being the fiscal agent.
A copy of the entire electronically produced grant is available at the district FDLRS office located at the Educational Services Facility in Pod 4.
Approve the 2015-16 Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS/East) Project Application with a total funding of $1,241,824. The breakdown for the total budget is $1,045,416 in IDEA, Part B with $155,525 included for the addition of the Florida Inclusion Network (FIN), Region 3; $163,140 in IDEA, Part B, Preschool; and $33,268 in State General Revenue.
