Field Trip - Edgewood Jr./Sr. High - FBLA National Conference - Anaheim, CA
Two Edgewood Future Business Leaders of America Club students won first place at the State FBLA Conference in Orlando held April 25-27, 2013 and have been invited to participate in the National Conference. The two students and their teacher/sponsor are planning to attend the FBLA National Conference in Anaheim, CA on June 28-30, 2013. The team will travel by air leaving from the Orlando International Airport on June 28, 2013 and will take public transportation to the hotel. The team will be staying at the assigned authorized hotel hosting the event.
The competition is on Saturday, June 29th with awards ceremony on Sunday evening. Ms. Louzao the teacher/sponsor will rent a vehicle which meets the district requirements while in Anaheim. The team will tour the city by rental car. The return flight will leave late Sunday evening and they will arrive back in Orlando early Monday, July 1st. The Parents are assuming all costs for their students. The trip expenses for the sponsor will be funded by Career and Technical Education. No school days will be missed.
Approve the request for Edgewood's FBLA team, two students and one chaperone, to attend the FBLA National Conference in Anaheim, California, June 28 - July 1, 2013.
