2013-2014 Multiagency Service Network for Severely Emotionally Disturbed Student Project RFA

Discussion
The purpose of this grant is to continue to improve services for students with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities in Circuit 18 and is aligned with the "No Child Left Behind" federal legislation.  Funds are to be used to supplement districts' endeavors in this area and to continue with prevention/intervention efforts.  The SEDNET grant provides for 1 FTE split between two Resource Teachers and a .5 Accounting Clerk, as well as training and curriculum materials.  A complete copy of the Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities Multiagency Grant will be available in the Office of Student Services, Students at Risk.

Recommendation
Approve the writing and submittal of the 2013-2014 grant for Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities Multiagency Network (SEDNET).  The approximate amount will be for $110,000.
