Title
2012-2013 Multiagency Service Network for Severely Emotionally Disturbed Student Project Application

Discussion
The purpose of this grant is to continue to improve services for students with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities in Circuit 18 and is aligned with the "No Child Left Behind" federal legislation.  Funds are to be used to supplement districts' endeavors in this area and to continue with prevention/intervention efforts.  The SEDNET grant provides for two FTEs and fringe for the Project Resource Teacher and Accounting Clerk, as well as training and curriculum materials.  A complete copy of the Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities Multi-agency Grant will be available in the Office of Student Services.

Recommendation
Approve the drafted 2012-2013 funding proposal (request from the Florida Department of Education) in the amount of $120,000 for the Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities Multi-agency Network (SEDNET) and authorize the Superintendent to affix the appropriate signature.
