Eau Gallie High School Football Stadium ADA Modifications

Discussion

ADA deficiencies have been identified at the Eau Gallie High School football stadium by a member of the public.  After review by the ADA Committee, it was determined that these deficiencies needed to be addressed. 

Canaveral Construction Company has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) under their Continuing Contract for Design/Build Services in the amount of $53,616.20 for the work identified in the Design Criteria Package by Design Criteria Professional Dane Theodore, AIA. 

Adequate funding has been identified for the proposed GMP, administration, permitting, testing, inspection and contingency costs for a total project cost of $59,316.20.

Because this project exceeds $25,000.00, Board approval is required.  Approval is requested as a Consent Agenda Item without previous information.

Recommendation

Approve the ADA Modifications Project at Eau Gallie High School for a cost not-to-exceed $59,316.20. 

Approve Canaveral Construction Company as the Design/Builder under their Continuing Contract for Design/Build Services for a GMP of $53,616.20.
