Replacement of Existing HVAC Unit at Roosevelt Elementary School
The existing CTSI fresh air make-up unit at Roosevelt Elementary School has reached the end of its useful life and must be replaced.
Mid-State Mechanical Contractors has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) under their Continuing Contract for MEP Design/Build Services in the amount of $295,998.71 for the work identified in the Design Criteria Package by Design Criteria Professional Herb Blauel, P.E.
Adequate funding has been identified in the (restricted) Repair at Failure capital projects fund for the proposed GMP, administration, permitting, testing, inspections and contingency costs for a total project cost of $324,998.71.
Because this project exceeds $25,000.00, Board approval is required. Approval is requested as a consent agenda item without previous information.
Approve the replacement of existing CTSI fresh air make-up unit at Roosevelt Elementary School for a cost not-to-exceed $324,998.71.
Approve Mid-State Mechanical Contractors as the Design/Builder under their Continuing Contract for MEP Design/Build Services for a GMP of $295,998.71.
