Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS/East) Project Application for 2012-13

Discussion

The 2012/13 Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System/East (FDLRS/East) Project is a viable coordinated statewide network delivering effective and cost efficient support services to any and all of those involved with the education of students with exceptionalities.

All FDLRS Associate Center grants are completed and transmitted electronically (online) and received, reviewed, and approved by the Bureau of Grants Management at the Florida DOE.  Hard copies of the certification pages, general assurance pages, budget summary page, and copies of the FDLRS 2012-13 Project Priorities and Project Abstract are attached.  The initiative areas (4 functions) for the FDLRS Network are Child Find, Parent Services, Human Resource Development, and Technology.

A copy of the entire electronically produced grant is available at the district FDLRS office located at the Educational Services Facility.



Recommendation
Approve the 2012/13 Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS/East) Project Grant Application with a total funding of $1,086,299.  The breakdown for the total budget is $889,891 in IDEA, Part B; $163,140 in IDEA, Part B, Preschool; and $33,268 in State General Revenue.
