Westside Elementary School - Construction Management Services
The Plant Operations and Maintenance Team initiated repair on the damaged soffit on Westside Elementary School, which revealed structural damage requiring contracted services to repair.
Doug Wilson Enterprises has submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in the amount of $164,470.82 under their continuing contract for construction management services, based on a design by RZK prepared under their continuing contract for architectural services.
There is no provision for building envelope renewal in the Sales Surtax Detail Funded Report (Attachment F) for Westside Elementary; consequently, the project will be funded through capital. Doug Wilson Enterprises is already on campus this summer for an HVAC renewal project. Administrative costs are estimated at $3,000 since the project management staff will already be on site as well.
Board approval is required for a purchase order over $50,000.
Approve the total project construction budget of $167,470.82.
Approve the Guaranteed Maximum Price submitted by Doug Wilson Enterprises, Inc. under their continuing contract for construction management services in an amount not to exceed $164,470.82
