Field Trip - Rockledge High Cross Country - Appalachian State University Summer Conditioning Camp in Boone, North Carolina
The Rockledge High Cross Country boys and girls teams, consisting of approximately 16 students and two Rockledge High head coaches (both male and female) will travel to Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, July 22-27, 2017. The two adult chaperones/coaches are current BPS employees.
The team will travel in a district authorized Enterprise rental van to Boone, NC and participate in the Appalachian State Summer Conditioning Camp. While in Boone, NC the team and two chaperones will stay on campus at the A.S.U. dormitories located at 287 Rivers Street, Boone, NC 28608. After taking part in the camp, students and coaches will return home. The cost of the trip is $435.00 per student. Students will participate in approved fund raisers to assist with expenses. RHS Cross Country Booster Club will cover any costs that fund raisers do not cover. No student will be denied the opportunity to participate due to funds. THERE WILL BE NO COST TO THE DISTRICT.
