Title
2009-2010 Multiagency Service Network for Severely Emotionally Disturbed Student Project Application

Discussion
The purpose of this grant is to continue and improve local services for students with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities and is aligned with the "No Child Left Behind" federal legislation. Funds are to be used to supplement district efforts in this area and to continue efforts in prevention/intervention efforts. The SEDNET grant provides for two .40 FTE and Fringe for the Project Resource Teacher and Accounting Clerk as well as training and curriculum materials. A complete copy of the Severely Emotionally Disturbed Multi-agency Grant is available in the Office of Student Services.

Recommendation
Approve the drafted 2009-2010 funding proposal (request from the Florida Department of Education) in the amount of $109,853 for the Severely Emotionally Disturbed Multi-agency Network (SEDNET) and authorize the Superintendent to affix the appropriate signature.
