Entry of Final Order in Brevard County School Board v. Mark Ostermeier: DOAH Case No. 11-4310TTS

Discussion

The School Board accepted the Superintendent's recommendation to terminate that employment of instructional employee, Mark Ostermeier, at the August 9, 2011, meeting.  Mr. Ostermeier timely requested an administrative hearing and the matter was forwarded to the Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) for formal proceedings.  An administrative hearing was held on April 19 and 20, 2012, and on June 25, 2012, the Honorable R. Bruce McKibben, Administrative Law Judge, entered a Recommended Order recommending that the School Board enter a final order terminating Mr. Ostermeier's employment for incompetency.

A copy of the proposed Final Order is attached as Exhibit "A" and the Recommended Order as Exhibit "B".



Recommendation
Enter the proposed Final Order adopting the Administrative Law Judge's Recommended Order and terminating the employment of instructional employee, Mark Ostermeier, effective August 9, 2011.
