21st Century Community Learning Center Grant 2015-2016 (Brevard After School Academy: North)

Discussion

Brevard Public Schools' Office of Adult & Community Education will provide quality after school services for students and support for parents of children who attend three elementary schools: Coquina, Mims, and Oak Park.

Using funds from this project, these schools will become 21st Century Community Learning Centers. The "Brevard After School Academy: North" program is designed to bring enhanced learning opportunities to eligible students.

This proposal with permission to write and submit was board approved on March 10, 2015, Agenda Item #27.

Copies of the application will be located in the Clearlake 21st CCLC grant office.

  • There is no required match-in-kind or other match as a condition of this grant.

 



Recommendation

Approve to accept a five-year 21st Century Learning Center grant offered by the FLDOE, for Adult & Community Education, in the total amount of $1,936,000.00.
