Audit Committee Representative
The School Board created an Audit Committee, which reports to the Board and shall direct and monitor the internal audit function. The committee shall be governed by the rules and procedures set forth in School Board Policy 6700.
Amy Kneessy, District 4, has chosen Nicole Colbert to serve on the Audit Committee as her representative.
Nicole Colbert lives in Satellite Beach and is Controller for William Glover, Inc. with 15 years of experience in public and private industry accounting. Working in construction and development, Mrs. Colbert has supervised jobs from high-tech industrial manufacturing facilities to restaurant build-outs. She has a proven track record of ensuring the project maintains the schedule and budget while exceeding owner expectations. In addition to her supervisory roles, she is the controller/treasurer for numerous organizations, with her primary focus being financial advisory and construction/real estate development.
Florida natives, Mrs. Colbert and her husband Chad, Ameriprise financial advisor, lived in Atlanta and Charlotte before settling back in the Space Coast to raise their three young boys, 8, 6, and 4.
Approve the recommendation by Amy Kneessy, School Board Chairman, to appoint Nicole Colbert to serve on the district Audit Committee as her representative.
