Title
Memorandum of Agreement with City of Palm Bay for Debris Storage

Discussion

The City of Palm Bay has requested the use of a vacant 15.8 acre property on Madden Avenue owned by the School Board as a potential staging area for the storage and processing of storm debris collected as a result of an emergency. 

The term of the Memorandum of Agreement is for a period of five (5) years, renewable at the option of both parties, and may be terminated by either party without cause upon thirty (30) days written notice.   

The School Board Attorney and the Director of Risk Management have review and approved the Memorandum of Agreement for form.

Because we are currently in the 2014 hurricane season, this item is submitted as a Consent Agenda Item without previous information.

Recommendation
Approve the Memorandum of Agreement with the City of Palm Bay for the use of a vacant 15.8 acre property on Madden Avenue owned by the School Board as a potential staging area for the storage and processing of storm debris collected as a result of an emergency.
