Brevard Schools Foundation Store at Clearlake Education Center - Change Order No.1

Discussion

On 12-10-2013 the School Board approved Heard Construction, Inc. to provide Design/Build Services to convert the east side of building 9 into a School Supply Store for the Brevard Schools Foundation under their Continuing Contract for Design/Build Services at Clearlake Education Center for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of $58,380.93.

The work has been completed.  Reconciliation of unspent Contingency requested by the District has resulted in a deductive Change Order in the amount of ($6,380.93).

Recommendation
Approve Change Order No.1 to Heard Construction, Inc. for the Brevard Schools Foundation School Supply Store at Clearlake Education Center under their Continuing Contract for Design/Build Services decreasing their Guaranteed Maximum Price by ($6,380.93) to $51,774.63 with no change to contract time.
